I don’t really like these gender exercises. Growing up, I was me. I didn’t look towards or dread any coming of age moment. I didn’t know I was having my period until 3 days into it when my mom did my laundry. Now I’m a woman, I guess, but that sounds old and not me. I’m just me. I don’t try to dress girly or otherwise. I like that dress or this shirt, I’ll wear it. Done.
